Just returned from a couple of weeks at Torquay, andy most evenings I was able to slip out for photos. Many nights I ended up at Point Addis, between Bells Beach and Anglesea. From one side of the point there are neat sunset views toward Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and Lorne, (first 2 photos), and looking out the other direction the cliffs at Addis, Southside and Bells are all lit up. Its a great spot. Last rays of light over Split Point at AireysNight swimmers at AddisPoint Addis Road.

Twilight over the Iron Bark Basin, Southside and Bells. It was probably too late for this shot, but I had to give it a go. ISO 400, f/6.3 20 sec exposure 3 stop ND soft grad.

Thanks, Keef. Not sure if you’ve been down to Torquay lately, but you wouldn’t recognise it from when we were there with your dad in 1981…

Just saw your Addis pics. Love the Airey’s shot-stunning.
Used to regularly surf Addis in the early 70’s. Drive through the scrub, mangling cars on ravines, camp on cliff top, then thread our way carefully down some rough hewn track to the beach-great times. Thanks for pics
