One Sunday morning after a bit of a dud shoot at Docklands I stopped by my office to collect some stuff I needed to finish off before Monday.  Rather than leave an expensive camera in a parked car outside the casino at witching hour I carted it upstairs. When I saw the balloons rising up over 120 Collins Street I couldn’t resist trying a shot. This image shouldn’t have worked – it was shout hand held on a medium format camera through coated glass. Somehow I kept it still and avoided reflections. Sheldon Pettit printed this one up really big for our Both Sides Exhibition at Team Digital in April 2014, and with his magic touch it looked magnificent on Canson BFK. Phase One IQ 180 80mm
